I always am pleased with my automotive care at Ed’s. I’m greeted by everyone I see in such a warm manner, the work is completed in a timely manner at a competitive rate, and the office and surroundings are clean, quiet, and maintained to provide a pleasant wait. This morning I relaxed in the warm sun in the gazebo. There is something special about being served in a neighborhood business that has been providing excellent service for so many years. I especially appreciate being informed but not pressured into available services. If you are searching, I recommend you give Ed’s a try.
For a single woman, there are very few experiences in this world that are more frightening than discovering your car is not capable of moving. This morning, I had that frightening experience! My battery was completely drained and had to be replaced. Not only did Ed come out to charge my battery, he provided amazing and prompt service after I drove my car to the lot.
Now, I have a brand new Interstate battery with an excellent warranty, and I feel much safer on the road.

My husband hit a deer with my jeep that I absolutely love, took my jeep to Eds Automotive after learning about them from Lynchburg Collision, and from the moment we walked in, I knew we would be in good hands. Everyone there was extremely nice from Michelle in the front office to Ed and Brian; they took care of everything and kept us informed. They told me they would take care of my jeep when we got there and they did. It looks amazing and I am so thankful to now know about Eds Automotive. I 100% recommend them and if we need anything going forward, I would certainly return here. Thank you all!!
I drove from Staunton to Lynchburg for a training at an elementary school less than a mile from Ed's. Half an hour into the trip, I lost cell service and my engine light came on. Michelle spoke to me once I reached the school, completely calmed my nerves and assured me they could help out before my training wrapped up and I had to head 4 hours home to Virginia Beach. I was pulled out of my meeting by office staff to call Michelle. The engine light was an error she explained, nothing was wrong with my car. Ed's garage drove my car back to the school so that I could head straight home without finding a ride back to the garage. This was done at NO CHARGE. Their kindness and generosity? BEYOND appreciated it. To compare, I was charged $69 at a garage in Virginia Beach when an engine light came on to communicate the gas cap wasn't tightened. I'll bet that would have been a freebie at Ed's. Thank you Michelle and all the staff at Eds for being good people!
